Release notes
Changelog
Version 2.2.0 (Public release)
- First 32bit release. Numbering is kept consistent with GeekoCFD (64 bit version).
- This release contains slightly more recent software than GeekoCFD 64bit, since it incorporates the
updates provided by openSUSE in the meantime. Consistency between GeekoCFD and GeekoCFD
32bit will be achieved in the next release, since users of GeekoCFD 64bit simply need to install the
automatic updates to have the newest versions of the software. - OpenFOAM 2.0.x is updated to the last release available in the online git repository when the images
were built.

Hi Alberto,
finally everything is running. Today run sucessfully some of my OpenFOAM files. It’s great. Thank you for your work. Georg.
Hi Kleiser,
OpenFOAM is installed in /opt/OpenFOAM so that all users can access to it without being able to modify the executables. Each user can create their own ~/OpenFOAM/username-2.0.x directory and work locally there, if they need to compile their own applications.
Can you run OpenFOAM applications on your live image?
I hope this helps.
Dear Alberto, thank you for the work. When running the liveDVD I was able to run some of the programs, I’m usually using, for example Blender. However, I couldn’t find the OpenFoam directory neither in my home directory nor anywhere else.
Could you help me with the reason? Thanks, Georg.
