Amazon Machine Image (AMI) 12.2 64bit
Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2) is a web service that provides scalable compute capacity in the cloud. It is designed to make web-scale computing easy.
An Amazon Machine Image (AMI) is a specially configured virtual machine image for use within Amazon EC2. It serves as the basic unit of deployment for services delivered using EC2.
This AMI is a plain openSUSE 12.2 JeOS image, with some helpful utilities like zypper and htop included. It is also released as a public AMI in all Amazon regions so you can run it there directly. The AMI IDs for each region is listed in the table below. You can search in Amazon’s web console for the latest IDs if this list becomes outdated.
The scripts and tools used to create and manage these AMIs are available on Github.

i’ve been trying to use this image but i am not able to start the firewall…
whenever i run SuSEfirewall2 start i get:

commit failed on table filter: No chain/target/match by that name
SuSEfirewall2: Firewall rules successfully set
when i run SuSEfirewall2 status i get:
SuSEfirewall2: SuSEfirewall2 not active
