USB & disk image




This is an image of your disk, ready to be written to either a USB drive or your hard disk. When written, it will erase all data on a disk. During the first boot, your partition will bee automatically resized to fill available space.

OpenGTS  Server Image based on Open Source OpenGTS_2.2.9. 

(Thanks Martin for this great software)


After installation (or test drive) you will get a fully working OpenGTS server with the default configuration. Just point your browser at http://yourmachine.yourdomain.com and use the credentials:


account: sysadmin

user: admin

password: password


Other passwords: 

root password: linux

opengts password: opengts


Mysql root password is not set.


TODO:

Log in to system as opengts user (password opengts). 

Change directory to $GTS_HOME (/home/opengts/OpenGTS)

Modify private.xml to customize OpenGTS

run the build script: $./build.sh (this will deploy track, events and gprmc)

Check the modifications in browser.

Enabled Network, Keyboard and Time Zone customization at first install.

But for more flexible installs, please check OpenGTS 64 bit SLES Server, based on SLES, a powerfull solution for system administrators  to rapidly deploy an OpenGTS based service, with Joomla CMS.

can somebody help me i want to install it in vmware player or virtual box but i’ve been trying to find out how can i use the raw file to do it but no success

I copied the raw image to another hard drive and I can see the files and directories as a slave when I put this disc on my PC with linux but when I boot the disk image of yours opengts this does not start leaving me a bug in the GRUB boot loader goes directly to grub rescue.


That may be happening and deal with it and also with Rescatux Supergrub but I solved this problem boot disk.
