WebYaST Demo Appliance
This is the official WebYaST demo appliance based on openSUSE-12.1.
There is also available a WebYaST demo based on SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 11 SP2 distribution.
This appliance allows you to easily try and play with WebYaST in a safe way without risk of destroying or misconfiguration your system. It is useful also for people who do not have installed any openSUSE distribution.
Moreover the demo appliance can used online (in testdrive) to try WebYast directly in your browser without installing anything.
Go ahead and try WebYaST in a easy way!
How to use it
After booting the appliance user tux is automatically logged into LXDE and Firefox browser is started. It connects to the locally running WebYaST instance. Use root and linux credentials to log into WebYaST. Then just try what WebYaST can do!

Downloads are no longer available for this appliance, as it is based on an OS version that we no longer support.
You can clone the appliance, then upgrade and build with a current OS version.
- Switched from KDE to LXDE (smaller image size, should be slightly faster esp. on slow machines)

- Added 5 second delay before starting Firefox (sometimes WebYaST was loaded too late)
